Install Address Ninja, choose a plan, and turn on the rules you need.
- Visit the Address Ninja listing and click Install.
- Open Apps > Address Ninja in Shopify admin.
- Choose a plan on Shopify’s plan selection page if prompted, then complete the confirmation and return to the app.
- On the home page, click a rule name to open it. Rules that work with their defaults also offer Activate on the home page; rules that need settings offer Set up.
- Choose where the rule applies: All countries, Only these countries, or Except these countries. For a country list, type in Search countries and select each country. Complete any other settings the rule asks for.
- To change the checkout error message, open the Error message card with the arrow and edit the text for each language.
- Click Turn on. If you changed settings, the button reads Save and turn on. A message confirms the rule is on and offers Undo.
- Test checkout with an address that should fail the rule. Confirm that the error appears.
Starter includes house numbers, apartment or suite numbers, PO boxes, special characters, MeinEinkauf.ch, and ZIP/postal code checks. Growth adds DHL checks. Pro adds maximum character counts and custom regex rules.
Eligible development stores receive Developer access to all checks without choosing a paid plan. Existing paid subscriptions continue when the app updates.
