How to Set a Limit on Preorder Products with Magical Preorder

You can control how many preorder units are available by setting a limit in your rule. The steps depend on which version of the app you're using.

If You're Using Magical Preorder (the new version):

You can control how many preorder units are available by setting a limit in your rule.

1. In the app, clickRules.
2. Open an existing rule or clickCreate a rule.
3. Make sure theActive stage is enabled.
4. Turn onPreorder variant sold out.
5. Enter your limit in thePreorder limit field.
6. ClickSave.

Once the limit is reached, the product will show as sold out.

If You're UsingPreorder Pro + Back in Stock (the legacy version):

1. In the app, clickHome from the left-hand menu.
2. Find the product you want to manage.
3. Click thegear icon on the right-hand side of the product.
4. TogglePre-Order Quantity Limit and enter the max number of preorders you want to allow.
5. ClickSave.
