The HTML sitemap is created by default to show All Products, All Collections, and All Pages. If you want to make changes or add specific links, you can easily customize it in the app.
Add Specific Products, Collections, Pages, Blogs, or Blog Posts
- Open theHTML Sitemap page in the app.
- ClickAdd Item in the section you want to edit.
- UnderType, select the kind of content you want to add.
- UnderName, enter the name of the page or item.
- In theLink box, paste the link or choose the content you want to include.
- ClickAdd.
- ClickSave to update your sitemap.
Add Legal or Policy Pages
- Open theHTML Sitemap page in the app.
- ClickAdd Item in the section you want to edit.
- UnderType, selectCustom URL.
- UnderName, enter the name of the policy or legal page.
- In theCustom Link box, paste the page URL.
- ClickAdd.
- ClickSave to publish your changes.
Add Custom Links
- Open theHTML Sitemap page in the app.
- ClickAdd Item in the section you want to edit.
- UnderType, selectCustom URL.
- UnderName, enter the name of the link.
- In theCustom Link box, paste the URL.
- ClickAdd.
- ClickSave.
These steps let you control exactly what appears in your HTML sitemap, so you can make sure customers and search engines see the most important pages on your store.
