Overview

Following the UK's departure from the EU, the UK Global Tariff (UKGT) applies to goods imported into Great Britain from countries without a preferential trade agreement. Tariff rates are published by the UK government and depend on the commodity code. Northern Ireland may follow different rules under the Northern Ireland Protocol. Merchants shipping into the UK may pass customs duties through as surcharges at checkout.
