How to Set Up SEO Doctor

Install SEO Doctor from the Shopify App Store, then follow the steps below to start improving your SEO.

Step 1: Review your scan results

  1. In Shopify admin, go to the SEO Doctor app.
  2. Review your SEO Score and the number of issues found.

Step 2: Fix issues

  1. In SEO Doctor, click Fix issues.
  2. Under the Fix issues tab, pick a product or collection you want to improve, then click Fix Issues on the right-hand side.
  3. In the modal that opens, click a tab with a red X (for example, Meta Data).
  4. Follow the on-screen requirement checklist and make the change.
  5. Keep following the checklist until everything with a red X shows a green check.

That's it — SEO Doctor is now monitoring your store for SEO issues. Go back to the dashboard to review your updated SEO score.
