If you’re seeing orders come through with a $0 balance and only your service fee included, you’re likely experiencing bot activity or a scam attempt. This happens when bots check out on your store using only the fee product, resulting in these zero-dollar orders.
How to fix it: Go to your Shopify admin, navigate to Products, and find the fee product that’s being used for these orders. Change its price from $0 to $0.01. This small change won’t affect how your fee setup works, but it will stop bots from completing checkout with a zero-dollar order.
