If your fee isn’t being added to the order, check these common issues:
- Make sure the fee is listed on the Fees page in the app.
- Check that the app embed block is enabled in your theme settings.
- If the fee uses custom conditions, confirm the settings match your product. All values are case sensitive.
- Double-check that the Product Type, Product Vendor, Product Tag, Option Name, and Option Value in your fee settings match the product details.
- Remove any extra apps that may conflict with Magical Product Fees, such as bundle apps, other fee apps, or upsell apps.
If your fee still isn’t being added after these checks, contact our support team for further help.
Always label deposits separately for compliance
Display bottle deposit fees as a clearly labeled, separate line item at checkout and on receipts. This meets regulatory transparency requirements, builds customer trust by showing exactly what they're paying, and makes it significantly easier to track deposits for reporting and audits. Use a clear label like "Bottle deposit" or "Container deposit (CRV)" so customers immediately understand the charge.
