The steps depend on which version of the app you're using.
If You're Using Magical Preorder (the new version):
You can change the text that appears on buttons and messages throughout the preorder experience.
- In the app, click Settings.
- Under the General section, you’ll find text fields for:
- Preorder button
- Coming Soon button
- Closed state button
- Sold out message
- Preorder label
- Signup success message
- Signup exists message
- Signup error message
Update the text to match your store’s tone or branding. Click Save when you’re done.
If You're Using Preorder Pro + Back in Stock (the legacy version):
You can customize the message that appears below the preorder button on product pages.
- (Optional) If you know when the item will be back in stock:
- Search for the product in the dashboard.
- Click the calendar icon on the right and select the expected restock date.
- In the app, click Settings from the left-hand menu.
- Click Preorders in the dropdown.
- Edit the message in the Pre-Order Message field.
- If you selected a date in step 1, it will be included in the message.
- If no date is selected, only the message will appear.
- Scroll down and click Save in the bottom-right corner.
