To send notifications from your own business email, you'll need a free SendGrid account.
Step 1: Connect SendGrid in the App
- In the app menu, click Settings.
- Scroll down to the Notifications section.
- Under Delivery Service, choose SendGrid from the dropdown.
- Enter your SendGrid API key.
- Fill in your sender name, sender email address, and reply-to email.
- Click Save.
How to Set Up a SendGrid Account
- Go to sendgrid.com and click Start for Free.
- Choose a username and password.
- Verify your email and phone number.
- Save your recovery code.
- Click Finish account setup, then Authenticate domain.
- Follow the steps to add the required DNS records.
- Verify your DNS settings.
Where to Find Your SendGrid API Key
- Log into your SendGrid account.
- Go to Settings > API Keys.
- Click Create API Key.
- Name it, choose permissions, and click Create & View.
- Important: Copy the key somewhere safe. You won’t see it again.
